Summer Reading Program

We are holding a Summer Reading Program from the 8th of July to the 29th with reading programs to be held on each Thursday of that time period (such as the 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th) from 2 PM to 3:30 PM for children 4 - 12 years of age. Pre-registration is availible at the the Ogema Public Library.

Ogema Fine Arts

  • Who: local artisans
  • What: local area talent--display of fine arts
  • When: Friday March 27, 9am--5pm Display
    Saturday March 28, 9am--4pm Display/Demonstration
Sponsored by Ogema Public Library
Refreshments provided by the Ogema Our Town Committee

This is a display of local talent of various mediums. Some local artists will be on hand.

There is an annual quilt raffle that takes place during the Christmas Tree Festival/Book Sale.

The Friends of the Ogema Public Library sponsor a Book Club that meets in the evening every 6 weeks at the O.P.L.


Summer Reading Program:
The library offers a reading program each July for children 4-12 years old. Activities and reading will keep your kids happy and busy in the summertime.

Book Sale: Our annual book sale is the last Saturday in September. This is during Ogema's  Christmas Tree Festival, sponsored each year by the Lion's Club.

Student Story Time: Ogema Elementary School students come to the library for story time every month. They also check out books that they can take back to school for a three-week period.
