Library Journal compares U.S. PUBLIC LIBRARIES WITH THEIR PEERS  BASED ON PER CAPITA MEASURES OF SERVICE OUTPUT IN CATEGORIES OF SPENDING ($10,000-$49,999) FOR PAST 10 YRS.  CRITERIA OF # OF VISITS, PUBLIC COMPUTERS USERS, PROGRAM ATTENDANCE, CIRCULATION OF BOOKS(eBOOKS too) is used. Average of 9.2 books per capita is circulated, 7.2 visits per capita, 4.1 attend programs per capita, and 1 use per capita of the public computers!  Did you know we serve a population of 1216 in the surrounding area? With school children visits, Quilt Show during Christmas Tree Fest, Art Shows, and MANY  UW Extension programs and MEMORY CAFE, Summer Reading, WE ARE LOVING ON THIS LIBRARY.  Be sure to thank your Price Co Representatives, Town Board and Library Board and YOU!!

ANY  KIDS OR ADULTS, ARE WELCOME TO COME TO THE LIBRARY FOR SOME  FUN YET LEARNING DROP-IN  ACTIVITIES .  YOU NEED NOT BRING ANYTHING BUT AN INQUISITIVE SPIRIT TO DISCOVER YOU CAN DO ANYTHING IF YOU WANT TO DO IT:  {games, puzzles, fidgets, building materials)

 

The Ogema Library will be hosting Book Clubs this coming month at the Library. The long standing Friends group is discussing new titles to choose from on Tuesday.

The newly formed Inspirational Book Club met during the Winter Months, will take a break in the summer and again begin to meet in JANUARY on 2nd Wednesday mornings of the month. 9:30-11.

All are invited to join in. You can request the free book copies on MORE at more.lib.wi.us. or call the library and we will reserve a copy for you to pick up and read.

Coffee, Refreshments, and Friendship through Literature makes for a great conversation and time to explore ideas. Join in whether every 6 weeks on Tuesday evening with the Friends group or every month on the 2nd Wednesday morning with the Inspirational Group.

 

IF YOU HAVE AN INTERESTING COLLECTION AND WOULD LIKE TO DISPLAY IT, PLEASE BRING IT INTO THE LIBRARY FOR ALL TO SEE!! SUCH AS WOOD CARVINGS, DRAWINGS, ANTIQUES, CHRISTMAS ITEMS, KNIT OR SEWING ITEMS...
